We started myGengo because we were frustrated with the existing options for getting things translated.
Machine translation is awful, and traditional translation agencies are slow and very expensive.
In
our work for clients, and in our personal lives living in various
countries we found that it was slow, expensive and inefficient to order
a simple translation. You can order a book from Amazon in a couple of
clicks - or project manage a virtual team online - but you couldn't
instantly order translation or get it done affordably.
We want
myGengo to change the way the world talks - allowing anyone to have
access to content in any language, and allowing businesses to
communicate with any customer. We hope the site will make this possible this by making translation
simple, really affordable, and fast.
The site is built using CodeIgniter and our favourite CMS, Expression Engine. All design, planning, programming by Moresided and Takeshi Amano.
